Opening Ceremony Overview
- Venue
Kyoto city:Okazaki Area (Heian Jingu Shrine, Okazaki Park, etc.)
・Opening Ceremony Venue: Heian Jingu Shrine, Okazaki Park athletic field, Rohm Theatre Kyoto.
- Date and Time
May 14th, 2021 (Fri.) at 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
・Besides the Opening Ceremony (3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.), a parade will also be held.
- Admission Restriction
In principle, the ceremony venue area is open only to participants of the Games (those under the age of 12 accompanied by the participants of the Games and those accompanying participants with disability are also allowed to enter).
We are planning to set up an area where the general public can also observe the ceremony.
